NJLTI offers Pre Licensing course in New Jersey.

All classes are subject to sufficient enrollment.

The student must have access to the publication, New Jersey Title Practice (formerly Handbook of New Jersey Title Practice), Fourth Edition, updated through May 2016, by Lawrence J. Fineberg, Esq. CTP. Please allow enough time for delivery prior to the start of class.  Enrollment includes the cost of the Handbook.  If you already have a copy of the handbook, Enroll in the “Class Only” course. The cost of the course will be $500.00 +$100(normally $175.00) for the cost of the handbook. If there are not enough enrollees to have the class, your money will be refunded.

The Bankruptcy Act of 1898 was the first to give companies in distress an option of being protected from creditors. Since then, the laws and regulations have gone through a number of iterations that effect the consumer in bankruptcy and therefore title issues in real estate transactions for those going through bankruptcy. This course discusses the issues surrounding bankruptcy and foreclosures and the relationship they have to title insurance

Tidelands or Riparian lands refers to lands flowed by the tide (and sometimes includes lands formerly flowed by the tide). The State of New Jersey holds title in fee simple to all lands currently or formerly flowed by the tide, unless it has already conveyed its ownership.

Tidelands claims in New Jersey are found in all counties except Warren, Hunterdon, Sussex and Morris
